Not just oil mill owners and merchants but also olives growers need to have the documentation
Article 5 subsection 1 of the new decree is very clear regarding the subjects in duty bound to have the records: “everyone that produce, keep or sell one or more oil for every commercial or professional reason, is obligated to have the register for every factory and/or warehouse excepted for store and warehouse of prepacked oil, and register every upload and download. In case of production and/or transformation and/or custody on behalf of a third party, the document is keep by the third person that really do the production and/or transformation and/or the custody of the oils.”
Left out from this law, organic producers and warehouse of oil strictly used as food ingredient different from mixed oils as explain in article 6 subsection 1, EU rule n. 29/2012; not designed for food consumption, designed for auto consumption; prepacked and labeling.
From January 1st 2014, professional operators have to obtain their personal pin code and start to log in at Sian system.
