Sempre più export per le macchine agricole

Agricultural machinery and tractors market suffer economic crisis period that go on step by step with agriculture sector. At the end of 2012 based on FederUnacoma federation report, that represent more that 90% of Italian Companies constructor, tractors enrolments goes down of 17,4% with just 19.343 machines sold. The worst result from 1954, when 43% of Italian active people was involved in agricultural sector (now less than 50% of that quote is still involved in agriculture).

To the other side, Italian agricultural machinery industry is one of the most competitive sector in the world with more than 70% of export quote shared between Europe and the other side of the Oceans: Latin America and India at the first places. Also in Subsaharian Region, “made in Italy” is becoming more and more important.

To reinforce presence and dynamism of Italian factory abroad it was signed a new agreement between Sace and FederUnacoma.  The initiative, supported by Sace, foresee that this particular business unit will pull the export for the next four years with a growth percentage of 9,7% that will arrive up to 10 for agricultural machinery. As new and important market for Italian Export, Sage research identify Latin America and Subsaharian Africa.

One more reason to look abroad. India in particular, because, speaking just about tractors, every years India enroll 430.000 units, with a prevision of 500.000 in a very short period. That means that Indian markets is bigger than Europe and US together. New opportunity for Italian machinery are everywhere: East Europe, Ex URSS, Iraq, North Africa. Italian Companies ask for one thing: have an efficient Country system to support Companies in the first step in the new markets.
