With the new CAP endorsment, Italian agriculture could obtain between 2014 and 2020 European subsidy for 33,4 billions euro of which 22,96 billion euro focused on farmers and market and the rest, 10,3 billions euro focused on rural area investment.
Subsidies were confirmed by European Parliament decision in Strasbourg during European multi-year balance sheet session (2014-2020). Data are current price, namely, inflation included. The whole European agriculture, during this period (2014-2020) will have 408,31 billion euro available, that represent 38% of the European Global budget: 30 years ago the percentage was 70%.
In the next seven years, the biggest part of the CAP subsidy, 312,7 billions euro, will be dedicate to farmers that will focus on European quality standards products also respecting EU rules regarding environment, land and animal respect. The rest, 95,5 billions euro will be involve for investment in rural area tie to create occupation in agricultural sector.
CAP is actually very important for the economy: global food products export, pass 100 billions euro and keep his position in front of cars and medicines.
